Our renovation at the Charleston Museum is really moving along! It’s been really exciting watching the plan unfold and seeing drawings and plans coming to life. The initial designs are all complete and we’ve begun working with the excellent folks at the museum as well as an awesome fabrication company to work out all the fine details.
We’ve also started to restore the taxidermy that will be living in the new exhibit, as well as digging through the myriad of items the museum has in its behind the scenes collection to see what new things we can add. It’s so much fun seeing all the really beautiful and bizarre things the museum has in its collection.
The Charleston City Paper wrote a blog post about the renovations this week, including some interesting tidbits about Charleston’s history that are integral to our new exhibit. Take a peak!
Looking forward to more progress and updates to come.
