Various work for Leon’s, located on upper King St. in Charleston, SC.

Most photographs by Olivia Rae James.

Problem: Leon’s eclectic aesthetic needed a cohesive group of art objects spread throughout the restaurant.

How we solved it: We explored the┬áline where art meets necessity and created completely custom and fun versions of every day objects, including an operating hours sign, tap handles made of vintage ice picks and oyster knives, hand lettered menu boards and tile signage. We also added artwork to the space in the form of murals and hand-painted tiles. Each of these objects added a united aesthetic and a level of detail to the overall Leon’s experience.
