Site-specific office installation of 100 quail eggs, lovingly preserved and arranged in a very organized manner for the lovely ladies at SDCO Partners.
Problem: The owners of SDCO Partners wanted a clean, simple installation that made an impact when clients entered their office.
How we solved it: We preseved one hundred tiny quail eggs, filling them with resin and mounting them on small brass dowels in an expanded grid. Some eggs were cracked open and delicately lined with gold for a fanciful, I-spy-style reveal. The resulting art piece is elegant and fun – an appropriate commentary on SDCO themselves.
