Problem: The Charleston Museum needed a fresh perspective for their renovation of the Natural History Gallery.
How we solved it: Sisal Creative was hired by the museum to design, coordinate, and manage the renovation of the Natural History Gallery over a two year period. We designed the exhibit and user experience based on a narrative developed by the natural history curator, and worked with TTS Studios to bring our vision to life. We were also in charge of sculpting many parts of the exhibit, repairing over 150 vintage taxidermy mounts, and producing all new renderings for the gallery. The resulting design is a modern, educational, vibrant storytelling experience in which users traverse throughout time and witness the natural development of the lowcountry first-hand.
