Brass Birds

Commissioned for a residential space by Sarah-Hamlin Hastings of Fritz Porter, this hand-forged brass piece emulates the shapes and sweeping motions of gulls following shrimping boats. Bringing nature inside in a minimal yet impactful way, this piece stands approximately 30′ tall and is mounted against a custom plaster finish.
